Providing the basic necessity for those experiencing homelessness

Showers are a basic necessity that are a challenge to access for individuals experiencing homelessness. The inaccessibility of showers can negatively impact the health and wellness of those in our community.
Mobile Shower helps individuals experiencing homelessness to easily find a mobile shower near them. Our users are able to keep track of the mobile showers they plan to visit and receive reminders. This app also provides links to additional helpful resources.
I searched up mobile shower companies in order to gain a deeper understanding of their purpose and their audience.

Based on the research I conducted, I created two personas and a user scenario.
I created a usability test where 5 users tested the closed task assigned. During the usability test, I observed their actions and asked them questions to gain feedback.

This project taught me how to use research to understand the users. I would like to further develop this project by interviewing people experiencing homelessness to further cater to their needs, as opposed to only relying on research and usability tests from my peers.
